Automated modern production processes during grinding or turning set high demands on the clamping system. In most cases, individual solutions must be developed to fulfill the customer’s requirements. Therefore, the production of our clamping systems has been optimized for the flexible variation of our standard clamping chucks as well as for the creation of special versions and new developments. HIGH SPEED CLAMPING CHUCK 高速夹具卡盘

 

High speed clamping chucks are designed for applications with a speed range of up to 8000 rpm and a repetitive clamping accuracy of 0.002 mm. These chucks offer the ideal conditions for use on lathes for hard turning operations.

Front end operated chucks are designed for high-precision grinding, turning and measuring operations since they feature a repetitive clamping accuracy of up to 1.5 µ. All components are made of high-alloy tool steel, are hardened and precisely ground thus guaranteeing reliable use and long-term performance of the pmh front end operated chucks. 5 different standard sizes ranging from ø 100 to ø 250 mm are available.

SEG clamping chucks are designed for modern CNC tool grinding machines. The large clamping range of up to 15 mm referred to the diameter allow to achieve an enormous saving of time during production grinding and regrinding of tools. A clamping accuracy of at least 0.005 mm is achieved across the complete clamping range. The pmh SEG clamping chucks are particularly suited for use on machines with automatic loading and unloading.

The pmh diaphragm clamping system with a repetitive clamping accuracy of at least 1.5 µ and an adjustable clamping force sets new standards for the machining of high-precision components on grinding, turning and measuring machines. This clamping system can be used for a speed range of up to 6000 RPM. Its replaceable clamping jaws, lightweight and maintenance-free construction and easy mounting are further advantages. The extremely flexible pmh diaphragm clamping system is particularly suited for applications in combination with automatic loading devices.

AXIAL CLAMPING CHUCK 轴向夹具卡盘

 

Alongside the proverbial pmh precision, the newly developed pmh axial clamping chuck excels above all thanks to a compact design and a quick exchange of parts subject to wear during ongoing production. So that this case also occurs as late as possible, the axial clamping chuck has been made of particularly wear-proof steels. For individual adaptation to specific workpieces, the sound sensorics, the dressing wheel (grinding) and the balancing weights (eccentric processing) can be added. A coolant duct has also been provided. As a further option, a body of hard-coated aluminium is also possible.

In supplementation to the range of highly precise chucks, the new hold-down clamp has been developed especially for parts which require a large clamping stroke, because they have to be clamped over a collar. The special clamping method is realized by means of diagonal slides which pull the part by radial and axial movements concentrically to the spindle axis against a positive stop. This ensures an extremely precise keeping of length tolerances.

The PHM AIR SUPPLY TUBE is equipped with a high-precision rotary distributor mounted on rolling bearings and a diaphragm seal. A separate channel is provided for each of the functions “Open chuck” and “Close chuck”. A third channel is provided for coolant supply, blast air or pneumatic discharge. Important: with polluted air a particle filter must be installed.

What’s revolutionary about the newly developed ROTATIONAL STEADY REST from pmh is the possibility of high precision internal and external machining in one working process (one clamping). A rotating clamping ring centers and clamps workpieces in the axis of a machine’s driven work headstock with extreme precision. In this way it’s possible to manufacture extra-long workpieces with the highest precision in regard to roundness, eccentricity, concentricity and axis parallelism. An extensive rough-grind of the back rest seat or center as well as drive or alignment mechanisms are no longer required. Fast retrofit, flexibility (e.g. as with the tailstock for the center rest) and the preset automation are pmh standards.
